Concerned that their auto dealership was not being assessed properly, the owner turned to us to analyze the true value of their property. Our team of experts found that the 12 parcels that comprised the facility were assessed collectively even though there were distinctive elements to many of them.

They were all assessed as retail auto dealership (a much higher tax a rate) when in reality nine of the parcels should have been treated as commercial land (a much lower rate per square foot). By taking a proactive approach and negotiating directly with the County Assessor’s Office, we were able to negotiate reductions of nearly $7.5 million in assessed values, resulting in savings of nearly $80,000 to our client.
